1. Way to go EON. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Regardless of whether or not you'll ever pilot one, wouldn't those 9 pages be useful for anyone who's ever going to fly in an op that features a mothership, whether on their own side or on the enemy's side? I've never piloted one and probably nev...

2. QuickFit - Offline Ship Fitter - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Looks like the engineering skill is getting applied twice to ships, boosting up the powergrid double. Also, on some modules (noticing it particularly with things like energized resistance plating), doubleclicking doesn't load them onto the ship.

3. What is the point of low sec space CCP? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
In my own experience.. nah, not much incentive to hang out in low-sec. 0.0 has better everything (except agents, and even there you have possibilities sometimes), and typically on safer terms. Empire is empire. Personally, I'd like to see a lot o...

4. Amarr, tbh - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Amarr here, though I admit I've picked up some gallente ship skills recently. I was wavering heavily, but have some renewed hope due to what we're seeing with Kali - the only thing that will kill that is if amarr are somehow gimped when it comes ...

5. No Kali exploration comments yet? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I've been really interested in all of the Kali info coming out, but for me the one main point of interest has been exploration. Missions are unimaginative and boring as they stand, and ratting is almost as bad - so if anyone out there has gone on ...

6. Are clones just a punishment for long term players? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I don't care about the cost of clones. I care about the fact that if I forget to buy one, I could lose a huge chunk of time. I'd rather clones be autopurchased on death, even if it sets your wallet to 0. Get podded at 0 ISK and you stay at 0 and g...

7. Give us capital mining ships! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
One potential way to balance it. Capital Mining Ship has lasers that can lock and hit from 150km. It cannot specifically target asteroids - the lasers pull out mixed ore from every asteroid in range. Enjoy your veldspar. Great for strip-mining a...

8. how do u make your living in eve? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Prior to moving to 0.0 - high-sec missions and low-sec ratting. The former were pretty good for ISK (I have pretty high Khanid faction as is - hopefully that will actually be useful someday), while the latter was alternately mediocre to very good....

9. Kali 1 vs. Kali 2, a new Oveur Dev Blog - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Ithildin Originally by: Viktor Tessela * Gate and system defenses are only viable in heavily invested areas, the kind you'd put a station in. That's exactly where defences are not needed. Gate defences are a tool ...

10. Make all turrets viable choices for each race. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Malthros Zenobia So you want all ships to become stupid cookie-cutters, where you'll end up with a 'best combo' that everyone will use? How about no. What are you blathering about? I didn't even suggest how this would ...

11. Make all turrets viable choices for each race. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
As someone who has primarily specialized in Amarr-class ships, I've found the use of slapping projectile weapons onto my ships. No cap usage, less strenuous fitting requirements - and hey, you get to mess around with different kinds of damage type...

13. Kali 1 vs. Kali 2, a new Oveur Dev Blog - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
For the people worried about defenses wrecking PVP in 0.0.. I'm having an optimistic 'Don't worry, this will be fine' attitude about it, for one reason only: Exploration. In my experience, right now even a large corp works maybe 3-4 systems max ...

14. What are you naming your Ships after? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Usually after Adult Swim characters or shows. Big O stuff - Battleships tend to get the Big names (Big O, Big Duo, Big Fau). Smaller ships, usually after characters (Rosewater, Schwarzwald, etc.) Whenever I put together a ganking omen, I name it...

15. Race Questions? (new player) - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Minmatar ships are very 'jack of all trades'. They can shield tank, they can armor tank, some use missiles, most have a decent amount of drone slots, and projectiles can hit (I believe) with every damage type depending on ammo, plus are capless. T...

16. What to do about the EIB Scandal? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I think the bigger question is, what can players do about it now? I'm all fine with scams being part of the game's mechanics, and I've yet to be scammed myself. But really - if someone jumps you in PVP, even if you're in a ship that will have no ...

17. Install the card game into real eve and get 1 million more players - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

18. Mining in dire need of a change. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I can see enjoying mining as a relaxing 'don't pay much attention' activity. For me, I can manage that with belt ratting or mission-running though (Non-L4). For me, I just see production as such a major part of the game world that I can't help bu...

19. Mining in dire need of a change. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]

20. 100 Million isk Giveaway #1 - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
This is what I would do with your millions. First off, I would tell everyone I know, 'Hey, check it out! I just got 200 million ISK! AWESOME!' "What the hell is ISK?" they'd reply, briefly distracted from World of Warcraft "It's like gold, exce...
